      September 3, 2026 17:42 Culture and Leisure The restoration of the "Chardymov House" and the "Samgin House," located on Bolshaya Pecherskaya Street in Nizhny Novgorod, has been completed. The "Chardymov House," which is a regional cultural heritage site, has been restored. A new building has been erected on the site of the burned "Samgin House," which did not have protective status. The previous volumetric solutions were preserved in the construction, and the architectural style was executed with references to the early 20th century. Both buildings are owned by the Nizhny Novgorod region and have been transferred to the operational management of the Nizhny Novgorod State Property Committee. The restoration work was carried out with the participation of the investor - LLC "Development Region." The first public catering restaurant in the restored buildings will open tomorrow, September 4.
