      September 4, 2026 19:00 Society In Nizhny Novgorod, the readiness of the residential complex "House on Murashkinskaya" — the first residential complex in Russia with full digital support for construction — has reached 80%. The progress of the work was discussed at an off-site meeting with the participation of deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the regional government’s press service reported. The project is being implemented by the group of companies "Construction Directorate," 100% of whose shares are owned by the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, with the support of DOM.RF Bank. The residential complex will be the first multi-apartment building in the country to be constructed with full digital support for all stages of work — from quality control to process documentation. Recall that the construction of the comfort-class house began in May 2025. DOM.RF Bank provided 603 million rubles for these purposes. The variable-height building of 10-11 floors is designed for 106 apartments with a total area of about 5 thousand square meters. The facility is planned to be put into operation in 2027. Currently, the rough finishing work is fully completed, including wall plastering and floor screeding. The facade system is 70% completed. The external water supply, sewage, and stormwater drainage networks are fully ready. As part of the landscaping, workers have begun vertical planning of the site. Next, the construction of sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots, landscaping, as well as the installation of a children's playground and small architectural forms — benches, trash bins, and bike racks — is planned. "The house is designed not only in 2D format but also in a 3D model, which allows identifying collisions and minimizing errors at the construction site even at the design stage," said Damir Biktimirov, director of JSC "Construction Directorate." He also noted that the digital model will be used even after the house is put into operation. The management company will be able to obtain detailed information about the networks, communications, and structures of the building, which will simplify the maintenance of the facility. As Damir Biktimirov explained, the digitalization of construction represents a unified ecosystem: the electronic general work journal is directly transmitted to the State Construction Supervision Inspection, and the project documentation is securely stored in a shared data environment. He added that the developer has completely switched to Russian software, abandoning imported solutions. This approach speeds up document flow, allows for the documentation of each stage of work, and ensures secure data storage throughout the life cycle of the facility. In addition, in 2025, the "Construction Directorate" became the first Nizhny Novgorod organization to enter the federal register of designers using BIM in residential construction. Vasily Sukhanov, chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Legislative Assembly's committee on urban development, property, and land relations, stated that this project vividly demonstrates the capabilities of digital technologies for maintaining construction pace and quality control. "What we saw today at the construction site is indeed impressive! Many of us still have the image of a foreman with a pile of papers who walks around checking everything. Here, the foreman works with a tablet — sees the whole picture, controls each stage in real-time," noted Vasily Sukhanov. According to him, digital modeling allows for a 15-20% reduction in the production cycle. He emphasized that such solutions are not just a matter of convenience but a tool that will continue to be implemented because it is in demand where it brings practical benefits. Additionally, improving housing availability and enhancing living conditions for citizens is one of the key tasks of the federal project "Housing" under the national project "Infrastructure for Life." Within the framework of the national project initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, the necessary social, transport, and utility infrastructure is also being created.
