      On August 22, 2026, at 14:40, Incidents: One person died in a fire in a garage box in the village of Opytniy, Kstovsky District, Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region. The fire occurred on August 22 on Sadovaya Street, 132. According to preliminary information, during repair work, a tank of a sewage truck was depressurized. After that, a fire broke out. The fire spread over 20 square meters. There were no children among the victims. Fourteen employees and four units of equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations worked at the scene.
