The deputies of the City Duma assessed the implementation of the national projects "Family" and "Youth and Children."

      Members of the specialized permanent commission of the Duma inspected the progress of work on two socially significant facilities in the Kstovo district. On July 13, 2026, an on-site meeting of the permanent commission of the city Duma on urban planning and architecture took place in the Kstovo district. During the visit, the chairman of the city Duma, Evgeny Chintsov, and the deputies inspected the construction of a kindergarten for 240 places being built in the village of Cheremisksoye as part of the national project "Family," and the capital repairs of the Bolshomokrin Secondary School being carried out under the national project "Youth and Children." This was reported by the press service of the City Duma.

      The event was also attended by the chairman of the permanent commission of the city Duma on urban planning and architecture, Mikhail Ivanov, deputies Alexey Zapoev and Alexey Rodin, head of the Kstovo district administration Ivan Ulanov, director of the department of construction and capital repairs Tatyana Geraskina, and director of the department of education Irina Boryakova.

      At the first stop of the route, the participants of the on-site meeting inspected the construction site of the kindergarten for 240 places in the village of Cheremisksoye. The completion of the facility is scheduled for the second half of 2027. Tatyana Geraskina explained that as of today, more than a third of the work has been completed: the wall and partition masonry is fully finished, the roof is installed, and 80% of the windows and stained glass are in place.

      The second inspected facility was the school in the village of Bolshoye Mokroye, where 211 children study in a building constructed in 1960. Here, work is planned for roof repairs, facade, and engineering systems, as well as interior finishing. According to the relevant department, the readiness is over 60%.

      "Any social facility is intended to make people's lives more comfortable. The kindergarten is being built in an area of dense individual housing, where there are many young families, and the 12 groups, four of which are nursery groups, will significantly ease the lives of parents—they will have more free time and more opportunities to spend time with their children. The completely renovated school will meet today's educational process requirements. The work is on schedule, but we will continue to exercise parliamentary control, as we understand the importance of adhering to deadlines for the completion of facilities," noted Evgeny Chintsov.

      Mikhail Ivanov reminded that at the previous meeting of the permanent commission, the issue of developing social infrastructure in the Kstovo district was discussed.

      "Currently, we have eight social facilities undergoing capital repairs in the city. Four of them are located in the Kstovo district. This is a very high indicator. For example, at the school in the village of Bolshoye Mokroye, we see how a building from the mid-20th century is being transformed into a modern educational institution. Work is being carried out simultaneously on the roof, facade, replacement of communications, and interior finishing. They need to be completed within the established deadlines," emphasized Mikhail Ivanov.
