Moreover, it opens a series of regional business forums 'Chemistry of a Great Country' - after Dzerzhinsk, such forums will take place in other regional centers of the chemical industry in 2026-2030. The business program addresses issues of state support for the industry, the development of a circular economy, labor shortages, and other topics. It is expected that the event in Dzerzhinsk will gather more than 500 representatives of leading companies in the industry and representatives of executive authorities," said the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Yegor Polyakov. The key event of the first day of the forum will be the plenary session "Route for the Implementation of the National Project 'New Materials and Chemistry' in the Nizhny Novgorod Region," where participants will discuss the interim results of this project, the investment attractiveness of the region, and issues of technological independence. Separate tracks will be dedicated to the opportunities of regional chemical engineering, the specifics of chemical cargo logistics, as well as the implementation of artificial intelligence, digital twins, and robotics in production. In addition, an exhibition will be organized within the framework of the forum, where leading companies will present advanced technological and digital solutions, equipment, and materials. "Participation in the forum will allow us to demonstrate to potential investors the advantages of our special economic zone 'Kulibin', one of the main areas of activity of which is chemistry and petrochemistry. Guests will be able to see already launched resident enterprises and learn about the progress of infrastructure development on the state site," noted the General Director of the Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Igor Ishchenko. He added that currently, there are 58 companies as residents of the special economic zone, which are investing more than 164 billion rubles. "In Dzerzhinsk, there is a special economic zone 'Kulibin' that is successfully developing, an eco-industrial park with a circular economy is being created, and there is an opportunity to place production in industrial zones. In addition, we have large, medium, and small chemical enterprises successfully operating.
