      In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a criminal case related to the death of a teenager in the eco-park in the Dalnekonstantinovsky district has been sent to court. The accusation was made against the administrator of the recreation center, as reported by the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.

      Recall that the tragedy occurred in the eco-park in the village of Zubanikha on July 26, 2025. During the day, a group of teenagers was riding on a pedal boat with a slide on the water body. At some point, one of the teenagers slid off the slide and swam towards the shore, but later he went under the water and did not resurface. His body was later retrieved from the water.

      According to the Investigative Committee, the tragedy could have occurred due to the improper performance of duties by the administrator of the recreation center. It is known that for a bribe, he rented a pedal boat to the teenagers without providing them with life jackets and without conducting a briefing on water safety rules. At the same time, the accused did not monitor the teenagers and failed to prevent violations of the rules.
