This was reported by the editor-in-chief of "Statsionar-Press," Alexey Nikonov. The Nizhny Novgorod region ranks 13th in the national ranking of consumption of means for male potency. In total, in the first quarter of 2026, pharmacies in Nizhny Novgorod sold more than 63.7 thousand packages of medications for the treatment of erectile dysfunction for a total of 42.6 million rubles. This figure has only increased by 0.3% compared to the same period last year. About 95% of all sales in the region are made up of medications based on sildenafil and tadalafil. At the same time, the popularity of the Russian analogue of "Viagra" has soared by 64.4%.
