The overpass on Larin Street is awaiting major repairs.

      On May 6, 2026, at 08:00, Society In Nizhny Novgorod, plans are underway for a major overhaul of the above-ground pedestrian crossing over the interchange of Gagarin Avenue and Larin Street. The administration of the Prioksky district of Nizhny Novgorod has announced an electronic auction for the preparation of the project and the conduct of engineering surveys for the work. This is reported on the state procurement website.

      The initial price of the contract is 3.6 million rubles. The work will be financed from the budget of Nizhny Novgorod for 2026 as part of the municipal program "Development of the road economy of the city of Nizhny Novgorod." The contractor must complete the work from the moment the contract is signed until December 1, 2026. This period includes the preparation of project and estimate documentation, its review and approval in the State Budgetary Institution of Nizhny Novgorod "Nizhegorodsmekhta" and other organizations.

      Applications for participation in the auction are accepted until May 13. The results are planned to be summarized on May 15.

      It should be noted that in 2023, local repairs were carried out on the above-ground crossing on Larin Street - the steps were concreted and the handrails were repaired.
