      The Main Department of the Ministry of Justice of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region is holding a Day of Free Legal Aid. The reception of citizens of the Nizhny Novgorod Region will take place on June 16, 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00 at the following address: Nizhny Novgorod, 1st Oranzhereinaya St., 46, 1st floor, office 115. The reception will be conducted on issues related to obtaining free legal assistance in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Those eligible for free legal assistance include: disabled individuals of groups I and II; children with disabilities, orphans, and their legal representatives; participants in the special military operation and their family members; low-income citizens; veterans of the Great Patriotic War, Heroes of the Russian Federation, Heroes of the Soviet Union, Heroes of Socialist Labor, Heroes of Labor of Russia; veterans of combat operations, unemployed pensioners; single parents raising a child under 14 years old or a child with disabilities; minors up to 18 years old; guardians (trustees) and other categories of citizens specified in the Federal Law of November 21, 2011, No. 324 "On Free Legal Aid" and the Law of the Nizhny Novgorod Region of November 2, 2012, No. 144-Z "On Free Legal Aid in the Nizhny Novgorod Region." Additionally, on this day, consultations can be obtained on issues such as: - obtaining personal documents from foreign countries; - affixing an apostille on official Russian documents; - the activities of lawyers, notaries, and civil registry offices; - state registration and control over the activities of non-profit organizations; - employment in the state civil service at the Main Department of the Ministry of Justice of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region; - the activities of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region; - providing information from the Federal Register of Normative Legal Acts of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
