      The Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has updated the investment map of the region — https://map.nn-invest.ru. The interactive regional investment map is a bilingual (in Russian and English) public map of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, which contains information about investment sites, real estate objects, existing territories of advanced development and special economic zones, transport infrastructure, natural resources, and support measures. Additionally, a cadastral map has been integrated here as an additional layer. "After the update of the investment map, users gained the ability to place their own investment sites. This feature opens up new opportunities for Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs, allowing them not only to realize their property but also to find potential partners for investment projects on specific plots. Architectural monuments available for investment and universal investment proposals have also been marked on the map. These are projects with calculated parameters that require minimal preparatory work from the potential investor," said the Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Yegor Polyakov. Currently, there are more than 600 sites on the investment map of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. "Work on updating digital services for investors and updating data in them is carried out on a regular basis, which provides entrepreneurs with a reliable and comfortable assistant in implementing projects. The investment map allows not only to select a specific site but also to familiarize oneself with the availability of all necessary infrastructure," noted the General Director of the Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Igor Ishchenko. The investment map has been developed taking into account the requirements of the regional investment standard — a system for creating favorable conditions for doing business in the region. Its components include an investment declaration, a development agency, an investment committee, an investment map, as well as a set of investment rules that outlines the entire "customer journey" of the investor. The standard aims to optimize the interaction between investors and government authorities and resource-supplying organizations and to reduce timelines for project implementation. To date, all elements of the investment standard have been implemented in the region. The Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region was established at the initiative of Governor Gleb Nikitin. The organization facilitates the implementation of projects at all stages — from providing information about the region, possible support measures, site inspections, to the commissioning of the facility, taking on obligations to interact with executive authorities, local self-government, natural monopoly entities, and other organizations.

      Let us remind you that starting from 2025, "Increasing Investment Activity" is one of the federal projects of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." The goal of the federal project is to ensure that the conditions for doing business are clear, risks are distributed between the state and investors, and systemic support measures are provided to increase the share of investments in GRP.
