The head of state reminded that 25 billion rubles are allocated annually from the federal budget for the implementation of the best projects. "Such a mechanism allows residents to directly influence the appearance of their cities, so their voice must be heard. The winners of the "Service" award are also determined based on the voting of residents. The number of participants in such voting is constantly growing. This year it reached over 1.5 million people. Your work resonates with people. Once again, heartfelt thanks to you for this," said the President. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, over five years of the "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" project, 525 public spaces and 2,415 courtyard areas have been improved. At the same time, the region has an initiative budgeting program "You Decide!" under which, from 2021 to 2025, more than 2,600 projects have been implemented with the support of residents — roads and sidewalks have been repaired, housing and communal services facilities, sports and children's playgrounds, public spaces, cultural institutions have been created, and zones for youth have been established. Now the residents of Nizhny Novgorod will have to choose objects for transformation in the new voting cycle. "The start of voting, announced by the President, opens a new stage of improvement. Over five years we have done a lot, but we cannot stop. The "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" project and the "You Decide!" program have become real mechanisms for public participation. "United Russia" consistently supports these initiatives because it sees that when residents decide what to change themselves, the result pleases everyone. Voting will last until June 12 — there is time to choose the most important objects," noted the first deputy chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma, head of the "United Russia" deputy group, Yevgeny Kostin.

      The "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment" program is based on the party project of "United Russia" called "Urban Environment." The implementation of the FKG is one of the provisions of the party's People's Program. The party conducts voting on the program annually together with the Ministry of Construction. The new People's Program of "United Russia" plans to include a proposal for the improvement of at least 30,000 public areas by 2030, as well as the implementation of 1,600 projects of winners of the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creating a comfortable urban environment. The All-Russian online voting for improvement projects will last until June 12. It involves 88 regions of the Russian Federation and Baikonur. For the fourth time, residents of historical regions whose projects received nearly 131,000 votes last year will join the selection. Voting will take place in settlements with a population of over 20,000, as well as in key settlements. Residents of the country will be able to choose the areas to be improved in 2027, as well as specific design projects for improvement: paving, small forms, landscaping, and lighting.

      The territories and design projects selected based on the voting results will form the basis of municipal improvement programs funded from the budget (federal, regional, local) and extrabudgetary sources. Citizens over the age of 14 can participate in the voting. Their choice can be made on the platform zagorodsreda.gosuslugi.ru, through the mobile application "Gosuslugi Let's Solve Together," as well as with the support of volunteers who will work in all regions using the ecosystem Dobro.rf.
