      On April 23 and 24, the RTRS branch "Nizhny Novgorod Regional Radio and Television Transmitting Center" will launch a thematic light installation on the television tower in Nizhny Novgorod for the international media art festival INTERVALS 2026. The illumination on April 23 can be seen from 20:00 to 22:00, and on April 24 from 20:30 to 22:00. A running line with the event logo will be broadcast on the media facade of the television tower, and its edges will be decorated with a contrasting dynamic pattern that plays on the recognizable symbol of the festival—a stylized "star," symbolizing the creative interaction of its participants with each other and with the urban environment. As the organizers reported, signs and symbols are the key theme of INTERVALS 2026. The festival views the city as an infrastructure of meanings that governs perception. Artistic works intervene in this network, changing connections and creating new routes of perception. INTERVALS is the largest international media art festival in Russia, held annually by the company dreamlaser in Nizhny Novgorod. The venues for showcasing technological art include both modern locations and the architectural heritage of the city. In 2026, the festival will take place for the ninth time.
