Residents and guests of St. Petersburg have been warned against visiting the beach on the Gulf of Finland.

April 14, 2026 11:53 Society St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly Deputy Denis Chetyrbok stated that visiting a nudist beach on the Gulf of Finland could be considered petty hooliganism. The parliamentarian emphasized in a conversation with "KP-Petersburg" that the problem with this area, which attracts people who prefer naturism, has not been resolved for many years.

Denis Chetyrbok noted that disrespectful behavior from beachgoers raises concerns. He reminded that this is a public place where parents walk with their children, and such situations can negatively affect their perception of the surrounding world.

Chetyrbok also urged citizens not to visit this beach, comparing it to a dark alley where dubious companies may gather. He expressed hope that the improvement of other city beaches would help divert people's attention from this area.

In St. Petersburg, work has been underway for several years to improve city beaches. Among them are "Laskovy," "Severny," "Dubkovsky," and "Komarovsky." In 2026, plans are in place to renovate the "Novy" beach on the shores of the Sestroretsk Razliv, for which 101 million rubles have been allocated. There are also plans to carry out renovation work on the "Chudny" beach in Repino. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has a Telegram channel.
