Nizhny Novgorod residents were shown a sketch of a new high-rise building in the area of Medicinskaya Street.

      On April 14, 2026, at 10:45, the Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Architecture and Urban Planning approved the architectural and urban planning appearance of an apartment building in the Soviet district. The order has been posted on the agency's website.

      The 19-story building will be located within the boundaries of Gagarin Avenue and the streets of Beketov, Nartov, and Medicinskaya on a plot of 24.6 thousand square meters. It will be part of the residential complex "Zenith." In addition to apartments, it is planned to include public purpose premises and an underground parking lot. The developer is LLC "Specialized Developer 'Obyektstroy'."

      Recall that at the end of 2025, the regional Ministry of Architecture approved changes to the planning project for an area of 102.1 hectares within the boundaries of Gagarin Avenue and the streets of Beketov, Nartov, and Medicinskaya. By 2030, the construction of two apartment buildings with underground parking for 281 and 304 car spaces, landscaping, sidewalks, driveways, children's and sports playgrounds is planned. In the second phase, scheduled until 2033, several more residential buildings, two closed parking lots, and an administrative building will appear in the area. The construction of another preschool educational organization is also planned.

      Additionally, a kindergarten for 320 places is already being built in the residential complex "Zenith" as part of the national project "Family." In the fall of 2025, a school for 1,600 places also opened here. It was also reported that "Obyektstroy" plans to build a tennis academy on Nartov Street.

      Earlier, the Ministry of Architecture of the Nizhny Novgorod region approved the appearance of the first new buildings under the KRT project near the Molitovsky Bridge.
