The flood is receding: three sections of Nizhny Novgorod roads have been freed from water.

      April 14, 2026 11:00 Society Over the past day, April 13, new cases of flooding have been recorded in the Nizhny Novgorod region. At the same time, some areas have already been freed from water. The updated data was published by the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the region.

      In the village of Ignatievo in the Voskresensky municipal district, water has entered the household plots on Lesnaya Street. The section of the road to the village of Natalino in the Navashinsky district has also been flooded — on Shkolnaya Street.

      As of now, 13 residential and 57 summer houses, 1209 household plots, 14 low-water bridges, and 10 sections of roads remain flooded in 23 municipalities of the region. The situation affects Nizhny Novgorod (Kstovsky district), Arzamas, Sarov, Bor, as well as the Navashinsky, Semyonovsky, Perevozsky, Ardatovsky, Bogorodsky, Buturlinsky, Vadsky, Varnavinsky, Vetluzhsky, Voskresensky, Volodarsky, Gaginsky, Gorodetsky, Pilninsky, Pavlovsky, Pochinkovsky, Sergachsky, Uren and Shatkovsky municipal districts.

      As a result of the flood, there are no casualties or injuries. Evacuation of residents to temporary accommodation points is not required.

      At the same time, the region continues to free areas from water. Over the course of a day, two private residential houses, 39 household plots, and three sections of roads in nine municipalities have been freed from flooding: Buturlinsky, Bogorodsky, Vadsky, Perevozsky, Gorodetsky, Shatkovsky, Pilninsky, Uren districts, and Bor.
