Coal production in the Nizhny Novgorod region has been suspended due to migrants.

This was reported by the regional office of the Federal Bailiff Service (FSSP). The reason was a violation of migration legislation by the entrepreneur. She employed citizens from neighboring countries and, by law, was required to notify the migration department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Nizhny Novgorod region about the conclusion of an employment contract with a foreigner no later than three working days. This deadline was not met. As a result, she was held administratively liable under part 3 of article 18.15 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. The court imposed a penalty — a suspension of activities for 20 days. The bailiff handed the entrepreneur a ruling on the initiation of enforcement proceedings and a demand for an immediate cessation of work, then sealed the gates to the production area and the charcoal furnace.
