Ten digital projects were created by students of the Presidential Academy.
April 3, 2026 16:01 Society College students from the Presidential Academy's Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Management created digital products about the history and future of their alma mater, receiving internship invitations.
A hackathon dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Management took place at the Youth Center "KUPNO.START." Over two days, students developed multimedia and interactive digital products in four areas: the history of the academy, the history of the college, the traditions of the educational institution, and interviews with veteran teachers. Participants were tasked with creating modern digital content that would form the basis of the institution's historical archive.
"The Nizhny Novgorod region is focusing on the development of young talents, and projects like the hackathon at 'KUPNO.START' are an excellent investment in the future of the region. The practice of internships and the implementation of student projects is precisely the mechanism that allows young professionals to confidently enter the profession. Since last year, KUPNO and the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Management of the Presidential Academy have launched a project for comprehensive development and cooperation, aimed at creating a unified ecosystem for students' professional growth and the implementation of modern digital solutions in the educational process," noted Acting Minister of Human Resources Policy of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Roman Markov.
During the hackathon, students worked on four cases: the history of the academy from 1920 to the present, the history of the college from preparatory courses to the modern educational institution, the traditions of the college, including student self-governance, scientific symposiums, and sports events, as well as interviews with teachers and staff — a total of 33 success stories.
The expert jury included representatives from business, human resource management specialists, teachers, and leaders of youth organizations. The best teams received internship invitations. "It is important to us that our students are the guardians of the Academy's values, heirs to the traditions laid down by the founders of the Nizhny Novgorod branch. And we see that the projects created within the walls of 'KUPNO.START' will serve as a bridge between the past and the future. We will definitely use all the developed materials in our work, and participants will have a real opportunity to immerse themselves in professional activities through internships. This is a bright beginning of a significant professional journey," said the director of the Nizhny Novgorod Institute of Management of the Presidential Academy, Ekaterina Lebedeva.
