March 22, 2026 15:41 Society Passenger train No. 64, traveling from Saint Petersburg to Samara via Nizhny Novgorod, fell behind schedule due to a technical malfunction. The delay was about four hours. As reported by the press service of GZhD, on the morning of March 22, the train was forced to stop at the Kovrov station in the Vladimir region. The reason was a breakdown of the electric locomotive. To resolve the issue, a backup locomotive was sent from Vladimir to the train. After its arrival, the train was able to continue its journey. With the delay, the train arrived at the stations of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod, and Arzamas. During the wait, passengers were provided with meals.
