The employment center helped more than 500 Nizhny Novgorod residents with disabilities find employment.

      In 2025, more than 500 people with disabilities found employment thanks to the Nizhny Novgorod Personnel Center "Work of Russia." Employment service specialists provide individual assistance to each job seeker: they create resumes, prepare candidates for interviews, and provide necessary support.

      The director of the Nizhny Novgorod Personnel Center, Lyudmila Yegorova, noted that job seekers have access to a variety of support measures, including help in finding work, career guidance, social adaptation, psychological support, and the organization of vocational training. The region continues to operate a quota system for the employment of people with disabilities, and to date more than 1,300 such jobs have been allocated. More than 300 current vacancies can be found on the "Work of Russia" portal.

      Thanks to the assistance of the personnel center, people with disabilities are successfully being employed in various organizations, including healthcare, education, housing and communal services, and social institutions. They work as welders, clerks, and artists in the field of folk crafts.

      The employment service actively cooperates with employers to create specialized workplaces. A state subsidy of up to 200,000 rubles is provided for equipping such zones for job seekers with disabilities in groups I and II and for veterans of the special military operation. Since the beginning of the current year, 49 job seekers have received such positions thanks to federal budget funds.

      The public organization "Nizhny Novgorod City Hockey Federation" is actively involved in this process, having employed 12 people, including four veterans of the special military operation. These funds have made it possible to adapt workplaces for people with musculoskeletal and visual impairments, including new positions such as sledge hockey players, laundry machine operators, welding machine operators, project managers, and administrators of therapeutic exercise rooms.
