The Transport Prosecutor's Office is monitoring flight delays in Nizhny Novgorod.

      January 10, 2026, 10:34 — Society. The Volga Transport Prosecutor's Office is monitoring the protection of passengers' rights at the airports of Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Kazan and Ufa, the agency's press service reported.

      Today, January 10, delays were recorded at the airports of Samara, Kazan and Ufa for various reasons. In particular, due to adverse weather conditions in Moscow, some flights were diverted to Nizhny Novgorod.

      To protect the rights of passengers whose flights were delayed, the transport prosecutor's offices of the Nizhny Novgorod, Kuybyshev, Tatar and Ufa regions are carrying out oversight activities. In accordance with federal aviation regulations, passengers are entitled to a certain set of services in the event of a flight delay.

      Special mobile reception points have been set up at the airports where passengers can obtain necessary information and assistance. Work is also underway to promptly resolve arising issues.

      Recall that at Nizhny Novgorod airport, for the convenience of passengers, drinking water points have been organized, water coolers installed and soft seats (poufs and mattresses) provided.
