      A resident of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Sergey Kryuchkov, who participated in the special military operation, was killed while carrying out combat tasks. This was reported by the administration of the Varnavinsky District.

      The farewell ceremony for the hero took place on January 5 in the village of Lapshanga at the church in honor of the three holy abbots of Povetluzhye: Venerable Makary Zheltovodsky, Venerable Tikhon Lukhovsky and Venerable Varnava Vetluzhsky. Representatives of the administration expressed their condolences to the family and relatives of the deceased. They emphasized that Sergey Valeryevich was an example of courage and devotion to duty for all the village’s residents.

      Recall that in the Lyskovsky District on January 6 a farewell ceremony was held for Dmitry Karpov.
