The Nizhny Novgorod Regional Dentistry has decided not to revise prices for most of its services. An updated price list comes into effect on 12 January 2026, but, as it turned out, it is almost identical to last year's. This was reported by the editor-in-chief of MIA "Stacionar-press", Alexey Nikonov.

In December experts predicted a significant rise in dental service prices — from 50% to 100%. They cited the increase of VAT to 22%, higher costs of consumables and logistics. However, those expectations did not materialize.

The cost of popular procedures such as fillings and teeth whitening will remain unchanged. The price of an initial dentist appointment will also not change — it will stay at 600 rubles.

Some items underwent minor adjustments. For example, anesthesia will increase by 100 rubles, and on-site prosthetics by 200 rubles. At the same time, the removal of a temporary filling, conversely, will become cheaper. Its price will fall from 350 to 150 rubles.

The chief physician of the regional dentistry, Anatoly Sidorin, confirmed that the clinics continue to adhere to an affordable pricing policy. He also reminded that many types of treatment can still be obtained free of charge under the OMS policy.

In addition, 3D printing of crowns has been added to the list of services as of 2026.

Earlier it was reported that the position of a physician for healthy longevity medicine will be introduced in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
