New prices at branches of the state dentistry of the Nizhny Novgorod Region will take effect on January 12, but the cost of most services will remain at the 2025 level. This was reported by Stacionar‑press editor‑in‑chief Alexey Nikonov.
Experts had predicted that due to the increase of VAT to 22% and rising costs of materials and logistics, prices for dental services could increase by 50–100%. However, analysts found that no major changes are expected at the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Dentistry. Recall that its branches operate in all districts of Nizhny Novgorod, as well as in Arzamas, Kstovo and Dzerzhinsk.
In 2026 the cost of fillings and teeth whitening will remain at the same level. Anesthesia will become 100 rubles more expensive, and at‑home dental prosthetics will rise by 200 rubles. The price of an initial dental appointment will remain unchanged, and the removal of a temporary filling will even be halved.
The chief physician of the regional dentistry, Anatoly Sidorin, noted that most types of dental treatment are available to Nizhny Novgorod residents free of charge under compulsory medical insurance (OMS). In addition, from 2026 the institution will offer a 3D crown‑printing service.
