More than 80 people went missing in the Nizhny Novgorod region in December.

      The search-and-rescue team "Volunteer" summed up its work for December 2025 concerning the search for missing people in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      During the month, 86 requests to search for missing persons were received.

      Of that number, 70 people were found alive. Two were, unfortunately, found dead. In four cases the searchers' assistance was not required.

      Searches for ten people are ongoing.

      In total for 2025 the team searched for 1,565 people, of whom 1,042 were adults and 523 were teenagers and children. 76 adults were found dead.
