Almost 199 million rubles will be allocated for the renovation of Nizhny Novgorod's 777th Anniversary Park.

      Nizhny Novgorod’s 777th Anniversary Park is set for a major renovation in 2026 — the city authorities are allocating 198.6 million rubles for its improvement. This information is posted on the official public procurement portal.

      The funding will go toward the implementation of the second phase of work on the comprehensive renovation of the public space. Under the contract, the future contractor will be required to carry out a specified list of tasks.

      In particular, the plans include clearing the area and removing excess vegetation. Landscape grading and the installation of prefabricated structures are also to be carried out.

      Additionally, the park will have barriers, fences, handrails and other elements installed to ensure visitor safety and convenience.

      Electrical installation work is also planned, as well as the disposal of hazardous waste that may be generated during the improvement process.

      Applications to participate in the tender are open until January 20, 2026. All work must be completed no later than August 31 of the same year.

      In May 2025, it was reported that design and estimate documentation was being developed for the continuation of the improvement of the 777th Anniversary Park of Nizhny Novgorod.

      It is also worth noting that the reconstruction of Avtozavodsky Park is estimated at 4 billion rubles.
