Parking will be banned on Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street from January 20.

      Restrictions on stopping and parking will be imposed on a section of Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street in Nizhny Novgorod. The measures will take effect on January 20, 2026, the city administration reported.

      The ban will affect the stretch of road from Gorky Square to Malaya Pokrovskaya Street. These changes are necessary to ensure unobstructed movement of vehicles.

      Drivers are asked to remove their cars from the area covered by the restrictions in advance. Otherwise, vehicles will be towed.

      Motorists are advised to study the new parking rules for this section in advance and to pay close attention to road signs.

      Recall that parking near the Communications Building was made paid. In addition, stopping and parking of vehicles at Gorky Square will be restricted from January 6.

      Earlier it was reported that Minin and Pozharsky Square would be closed to traffic on New Year’s night.
