      On December 30 in Nizhny Novgorod, two more themed trams entered public transport routes as part of the regional project "Wagon of Victory." Their exhibits are dedicated to the selfless, titanic work and to all who help the front within the framework of the #WEARETOGETHER movement. This project was implemented by the Nizhny Novgorod regional office of the All‑Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory" with the support of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      Both trams received special informational designs dedicated to the selflessness and unity of our volunteers, who actively help the front and their fellow citizens in peacetime. The first car began operating on route No. 27, the second set off today on route 417.

      The opening ceremony was attended by the Deputy Head of the Administration of Nizhny Novgorod Vladimir Anisimov; the Director of the Department of Social Communications and Youth Policy Artur Shtoyan; the Director of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization "Public Self‑Government of Nizhny Novgorod" Oksana Dektereva; the Head of the Department for Work with the Population of the Administration of Nizhny Novgorod Aleksey Zarubin; as well as Volunteers of Victory and concerned city residents.

      "I know firsthand what enormous support volunteers give to our servicemen and to the newly incorporated Russian territories. Their daily feat is no less important for our common victory. Thank you to everyone who contributes and creates a victorious, unbreakable bond that unites us all," commented Vladimir Anisimov, Deputy Head of the Administration of Nizhny Novgorod, participant in the special military operation.

      According to the Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region and the regional headquarters of #WEARETOGETHER, in 2025 volunteers sent 1,340 tons of humanitarian aid and 26 vehicles to help residents of border territories and servicemen participating in the special military operation. Four times volunteer groups from Nizhny Novgorod traveled on humanitarian missions to restore the Kursk region and assist fellow residents affected by attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Five Nizhny Novgorod volunteers were awarded the honorary badge "Volunteer of Russia" based on the results of the year.

      "Two new Wagons of Victory are our collective labor set on rails. The work of many thousands of Nizhny Novgorod residents united to help the front and our servicemen. The trams' exhibits tell of tons of cargo, thousands of collected parcels, the transfer of equipment, the countless letters of support written to the fighters, and much more. We wanted once again to show Nizhny Novgorod residents that we are strong precisely because #WEARETOGETHER, strong in that unbreakable spiritual bond that unites us all — from the front to the smallest good deed here in Nizhny Novgorod," shared Maria Samodelkina, head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional office of the All‑Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory."
