From 1 to 22 December 2025, nearly 70 cases of hospitalizations for injuries sustained on slippery streets were recorded in the Nizhny Novgorod region. These data were provided to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the regional Ministry of Health.
The ministry emphasized that four children were among the injured.
In addition, doctors registered 13 cases of seeking medical assistance related to hypothermia and other cold-related injuries.
At the same time, there were no hospitalizations due to falling ice from roofs and other structures during the period in question.
Earlier it became known that severe frosts and snowfalls are expected in Nizhny Novgorod during the week.
