Nearly 100 million rubles will be allocated to provide meals for the construction workers of the Nizhny Novgorod Metro.

      Nearly 100 million rubles are planned to be spent on organizing meals for workers involved in the extension of the Avtozavodskaya metro line in Nizhny Novgorod. The corresponding electronic auction was announced by the joint-stock company "Mosproject-3". This is reported on the state procurement website.

      According to the procurement conditions, meals will be provided daily for a year at six construction sites. The menus include breakfast, lunch and dinner, and delivery will be made three times a day — at 7:00, 12:00 and 20:00. Meals must be supplied in sealed thermal containers that meet sanitary requirements.

      The supplier is required to provide a full cycle of services: from purchasing ingredients and planning the menu to preparing the dishes and delivering them. The menu will be agreed monthly and updated weekly, with mandatory inclusion of meat, fish and fermented dairy dishes, as well as a choice of beverages.

      The initial maximum contract price is 99.2 million rubles. The price per meal is 755 rubles. Only small and medium-sized enterprises are eligible to participate in the auction.

      Applications to participate in the auction are open from 24 December 2025 to 19 January 2026. Results are expected to be announced on 26 January 2026.

      It was previously reported that on 18 December the boring of the second tunnel between the "Sennaya" and "Ploshchad Svobody" stations was completed. It was also reported that an additional 12.4 billion rubles will be allocated to extend the metro from "Gorkovskaya" to "Sennaya".

      In addition, the completion dates for the line's construction were previously adjusted: tunnels, tracks and station complexes will be finished in 2026. After that, finishing works will begin, which are planned to be completed by mid-2027.
