170 Nizhny Novgorod "MiNiN" trams will be insured for 57 million rubles.

      LLC "Environmental Projects" announced its intention to insure a fleet of 170 Nizhny Novgorod "MiNiN" trams under a comprehensive CASCO insurance scheme. This information was posted on the official public procurement portal.

      According to the documentation, the insurance coverage will include 144 tramcars of the T811 model and 26 three-section T856 trams. The list includes both vehicles already delivered, manufactured in 2023–2025, and 52 units planned for production in 2026.

      The starting price of the contract is 56.9 million rubles. Under the terms, the insured amount per tram may range from 57.2 to 138.5 million rubles depending on the model and configuration.

      Potential participants must submit a bid bond of 2.8 million rubles, which corresponds to 5% of the contract’s starting price. The insurance contract will be valid for one year from the date of its signing.

      Evaluation of bids and the announcement of results are scheduled for January 19, 2026.

      It was previously reported that about 80 "MiNiN" trams have already been delivered to the regional center.

      It should also be recalled that Governor Gleb Nikitin ordered the acceleration of tram track repairs in Nizhny Novgorod.
