      Authorities of Nizhny Novgorod have decided to introduce a state of heightened readiness in three apartments of an apartment building on Lvovskaya Street. The corresponding decree was signed on 23 December 2025.

      Recall that the apartments were damaged by an explosion of a gas-air mixture at the end of October. The incident occurred in one of the apartments during repair work. It is believed that the owner used a construction heat gun to speed up the drying of paint in an enclosed space. As a result of the incident he was injured and hospitalized.

      The regime applies to apartments No. 31, 32 and 33 of the second entrance of building No. 3. The measures were taken due to the need to address the consequences of the emergency situation.

      The administration of the Avtozavodsky district has been instructed to organize emergency restoration work on the common property in the damaged stairwell. The Main Department for Capital Construction and specialized organizations must carry out an assessment of the building's technical condition, and the management company has been recommended to ensure that damaged double-glazed window units are closed.

      Earlier it was reported that a state of heightened readiness had been introduced near the emergency apartment building at 34a Pravdinskaya Street.
