A fatal road accident occurred in the Nizhny Novgorod region on the night of November 29–30. One person was killed and three were injured in the crash, the press service of the regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (UGIBDD) reported.
According to the information, the accident happened on the approach to the village of Tatarskoye Maklakovo in the Spassky district. A 67-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Captiva failed to yield at an intersection to a Lada passenger car. As a result of the collision, the 25-year-old driver of the domestic car died.
Three other passengers of the Lada were injured. A 40-year-old woman, a 43-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were hospitalized with injuries in the Sergach Central District Hospital. Traffic police investigators are establishing the circumstances of the crash.
