They unquestionably deserved this victory, these emotions,” Alexey Shpilevskiy noted at the press conference. “You could say that today we got back what we deserved earlier. This is a logical outcome of the game. Our team is not in its rightful place. I see the development of the players. The first half was simply fantastic in our performance. Finally we scored first, feeling the joy of scoring. At halftime I told the lads that 2:0 is a very dangerous scoreline. Akron simplified the game as much as possible, starting to play long balls to Artem Dzyuba. But our boys won deservedly. Admittedly, the ending was a bit tense. We have another tough away match against Makhachkala’s Dynamo ahead of us. We’ll try to prepare well for it.”
