Evgeny Lyulin: "Having become a father and a grandfather myself, I still marvel at mothers today."

      On Mother's Day, the chairman of the regional parliament, Evgeny Lyulin, shared memories of his mother — Evdokia Ivanovna Lyulina — with his followers on social media. She raised six children, ran the household and baked the most delicious pies known throughout the village.

      "Today is the holiday of the most important people in the world — Mother's Day!" the chairman of the regional parliament began his post on the MAKH channel.

      "My mother is a simple village woman. She never knew the words 'time management' and 'multitasking.' But by 6 a.m. the house was always warm. Fresh milk and cottage cheese stood on the table, and fresh bread or potato pies breathed warmth. Comfort, cleanliness, her care and her ability to find the right words for each of us seemed natural to us. And who else, if not a mother?" Evgeny Lyulin shared his memories.

      "Of the six of us children, none of us could even imagine that she would get tired or burned out at work. Yet so much depended on her! Her eyes always reflected love and concern for her sons and daughters," the speaker noted.

      "Now, having become a father and a grandfather, I still continue to admire mothers. How do they manage everything? A century of hand-washing has passed, kitchen food processors and electric meat grinders have appeared, but mothers' worries have not diminished. They still seem to me to do everything, to be understanding, the most caring and loving," Evgeny Lyulin admitted.

      Addressing all mothers, the chairman of the Legislative Assembly said: "Our dear, beloved mothers! I want to wish each of you boundless happiness: in it lies the quiet joy for your children's successes, their health, and the easy resolution of all household concerns and problems."

      "Motherhood in our culture is sacred. 'Mother' is the most powerful and healing word in the world. The overall mood in the home depends on you. I congratulate you all on Mother's Day and wish you love and happiness! May harmony and joy always reign in your families!" Evgeny Lyulin wrote.
