Gleb Nikitin told students about an internship in the regional government.

      The governor of Nizhny Novgorod, Gleb Nikitin, told students about internship opportunities in the regional government. He posted about it on his Telegram channel.

      He recalled the moment when he decided on his future profession. During an open day at the Saint Petersburg State University of Economics, representatives of large international companies attended the meeting. The lion’s share of students competed for internships there. According to Nikitin, there was nothing surprising about it: the prestigious corporations offered applicants huge sums of money.

      "After all the flashy presentations came a modest invitation from an employee of KUGI of Saint Petersburg. At that moment something clicked in me. That’s how I began working in the committee," the governor of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast shared.

      Now young people have far more chances and opportunities to pursue a career in public service. In 2025, 350 students took part in the internship programs. As a result of the internships, 130 people were offered jobs.

      Earlier it was reported that Gleb Nikitin entered the top three of the governors’ media ranking in October.
