A 47-year-old resident of the Sormovsky District responded to a part‑time job offer in a messenger app. He was promised income for purchasing goods with subsequent reimbursement and payment of interest after writing a positive review, the department said. The man placed an order and transferred 80,000 rubles via a mobile app, but after that the “employers” stopped responding. The money he spent on the purchase was never returned.
