"Pari NN" does not plan a major transfer campaign this winter.

      The new sporting director of the football club Pari Nizhny Novgorod, Anton Evmenov, who joined the team in November, spoke about the upcoming winter transfer campaign and outlined priorities in squad building. His words are quoted by the club’s press service.

      According to Evmenov, the upcoming transfer window will not be large-scale for the club, and much will depend on who leaves the team: "It's a common phrase, but nonetheless: the main thing is not quantity but quality. It's hard to predict now how many players will come to us in the winter. I like to use this analogy: first people get off the tram, and then they get on."

      The sporting director did not rule out the possibility of targeted reinforcement by one or two players capable of genuinely influencing the game.

      At the same time, personnel changes will be unavoidable.

      "I wouldn't call it a purge, because that term sounds disrespectful toward the players. We'll have to part ways with some players due to insufficient playing time. We also have 3–5 players who could be approached by other clubs at any moment. We'll watch and act based on the plan we have," Evmenov emphasized.

      The specialist noted that the main task now is to gain a deeper understanding of the current squad's potential and identify areas that require strengthening. Pari NN already has a core around which they plan to add new players selectively, players who can be useful both in the short and long term.

      The winter transfer window in the RPL will be open from 23 January to 19 February 2026.

      Recall that after 16 rounds the Nizhny Novgorod club sits at the bottom of the table with 8 points. Of the matches played, Alexey Shpilevsky's side have lost 12, won 2, and drawn 2.

      It was previously reported that Pari NN's head coach spoke about the need for changes in personnel policy.
