By 2030, up to 90% of user actions in the digital space will be performed by intelligent agents, according to a study conducted by a digital ecosystem. Thus, a shift is outlined from a model of independent choice to the full delegation of tasks to virtual assistants acting on behalf of a person.

In the coming years, the very principle of interacting with AI will begin to change. In 2025, the user, as now, will be aware of their own needs and will use AI as an intelligent search tool to help evaluate possible options. However, by 2030 digital agents will become proactive: they will begin to anticipate potential requests by analyzing behavior, purchase history, data from smart devices and the owner's schedule.

The technology will become a universal tool that gathers information from marketplaces, websites and other sources, processes it and offers ready-made solutions. The user will receive not just a selection of links, but full recommendations adapted to their specific needs.

The biggest changes will occur in the realm of shopping and payments. If today a person compares offers themselves and enters payment details, in the future they will only set general parameters — for example, budget, preferences and constraints. Everything else — from choosing the product to placing the order and applying discounts — the AI agent will perform independently, including checking site security and tracking prices.

In addition, digital assistants will take on the organization of delivery and post-sale support. They will be able to independently choose optimal logistics solutions based on geolocation and the user's schedule, track the movement of an order and interact with delivery services without human involvement.

According to Andrey Belov, director of MTS in the Nizhny Novgorod region, current realities — information overload, a shortage of time and a growing demand for personalization — make the use of AI not just a convenient feature but a necessary tool. He noted that people increasingly entrust virtual assistants not only with everyday tasks but also with important decisions, including strategic purchases. In these conditions, it is important for businesses to adapt by implementing their own AI developments and integrating them into existing processes.
