"Digital-Autumn – 2025": Artificial Intelligence — Rostelecom's partner in business

      "Rostelecom" presented its own approach to implementing artificial intelligence (AI) in business processes at the annual "Digital-Autumn —2025" conference held on November 7 in Nizhny Novgorod. The event traditionally brought together leading specialists in internet marketing, advertising and digital communications.

      Donat Fetisov, Director of Data Management Strategy at PJSC "Rostelecom", said that the company is no longer experimenting with smart technologies but is using them in business processes. According to the speaker, the telecom operator's goal is to embed artificial intelligence into everyday work, making it a full-fledged member of the "Rostelecom" team capable of working alongside employees to achieve results.

      He said that for these purposes the company has created the "Neuroshlyuz" platform, which unites around thirty AI services. IT solutions help specialists perform various tasks: describe data, search for necessary documents, create presentations, transcribe audio and video files into text, and generate program code.

      He noted that working with data is one of Rostelecom's key areas. The company has a huge amount of structured data that is time-consuming to analyze manually. The AI services of "Neuroshlyuz" make it possible to quickly find the required files, navigate corporate repositories, and describe and identify sensitive information.

      In his opinion, no model will deliver the desired result if trained on irrelevant data, so the company pays special attention to the quality of information.

      "A new trend is forming in the corporate sector — artificial intelligence is being integrated into business processes as an equal partner. Its functionality is also transforming: the supporting role of a 'co-pilot' and 'advisor' is evolving into an autonomous AI agent. Today such agents are used in one in four large companies, and in two years one in two will be using them. The implementation of AI technologies is not an attempt to replace humans, but a way to strengthen their competencies, free them from routine tasks and leave more room for creativity. 'Rostelecom' is betting on the industrialization of AI — moving from isolated pilot projects to embedding AI in operational processes. The company is expanding the functionality of the 'Neuroshlyuz' platform and opening it up to clients."

      The Digital conference takes place in Nizhny Novgorod twice a year and attracts representatives of the creative industry from various Russian cities to exchange best practices. This year the event was attended by more than 20,000 people. For the first time, the event's headliner was designer Artemy Lebedev.
