An award for the development of corporate sports is being launched in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Applications are now open in the region for the I Regional Award in the field of corporate sports. The initiative is designed to identify and support the best corporate practices, promote a culture of healthy lifestyles at enterprises and organizations, as well as strengthen team spirit and develop social initiatives through sport.

      The award includes the following six categories, clarified ANO "Rating/Sport."

      Nizhny Novgorod Region's Minister of Sport, Dmitry Kabaylo, called the development of corporate sports a strategic priority for the region and linked it to improving employees' health and increasing their engagement.

      According to him, a unified digital corporate sports platform has been created for systematic work: it hosts listings of upcoming events, organizers can register an event and book slots to participate in competitions. Athletes, teams and companies can track their sports ranking, which will make it possible to determine leaders at the end of the year.

      Kabaylo emphasized that the award will become a sustainable platform for exchanging best practices and an incentive for further development of initiatives within organizations. He noted, "The development of corporate sports is our strategic task."

      Applications are accepted until 1 November 2025. In-person project defenses are scheduled for 3 December 2025.

      The jury includes representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod Region's Ministry of Sport, the Association for the Development of Corporate Sports, the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Society "Trudovye Rezervy" (VFSO "Labor Reserves"), as well as experts from leading Russian companies — leaders in corporate sports.

      The award ceremony will take place on 4 December 2025 as part of the IV Annual Conference on the Development of Corporate Sports.

      It was previously reported that the best players of Nizhny Novgorod sports clubs would be paid 50,000 rubles each.
