An attack by 20 enemy UAVs was repelled in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      06 October 2025 07:51 Incidents — Attack: 20 enemy drones were repelled in the Nizhny Novgorod Region overnight, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

      According to the agency, a total of 251 Ukrainian fixed‑wing unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed in Russia on the night of October 6.

      The largest number of UAVs (40) were shot down over Crimea. Another 34 "birds" were eliminated over Kursk Region and 30 over Belgorod Region.

      Drones also attempted to attack Voronezh, Bryansk, Tula, Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Tambov, Oryol, Lipetsk and Moscow regions, and Krasnodar Krai.

      Sixty‑two drones were shot down over the Black Sea and five over the Sea of Azov.

      Recall that the day before an attack by five UAVs was repelled in the region. As Governor Gleb Nikitin said, they were destroyed while approaching an industrial zone.
