FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod lost to Sochi in the 11th round of the Russian Premier League.

      October 5, 2025, 16:55 Sport FC "Pari Nizhny Novgorod" lost to "Sochi" in the 11th round of the RPL. The match at the Fisht Stadium ended 2-1 in favor of the hosts.

      In the 35th minute Sochi newcomer Vladimir Ilyin opened the scoring. It was the forward's debut goal for his new club.

      Right after the break, in the 48th minute, Nizhny's foreign player Juan Boselli restored parity with a direct free-kick.

      In the 55th minute Sochi captain Ignacio Saavedra missed a penalty but was first to react to the rebound and put the ball into the net. That episode proved decisive.

      After 11 matches both teams sit at the bottom of the table and are in the direct relegation zone. Nizhny Novgorod, with six points, are 15th, while Sochi, with five points, remain last.

      Earlier it was reported that two Pari Nizhny Novgorod players were called up to Russia's youth national team.
