The schedule for the "Buy Nizhegorodskoye" fairs in October has been published.

      October 5, 2025 15:12 EconomicsIn October, 13 fairs of the "Buy Nizhny Novgorod Products" project will be held on the territory of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Trade venues will be set up in ten municipalities of the region. Local entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals are invited to participate in the events.

      As explained by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Maxim Cherkasov, such fairs provide businesses with an additional opportunity to present their goods to a wide audience and expand their customer base. At the same time, residents of the region can purchase products at affordable prices — directly from producers. According to the minister, the fairs are timed, among other things, to coincide with festive and cultural events in the districts, and trading spaces are provided free of charge by local administrations.

      Since the beginning of 2025, 209 "Buy Nizhny Novgorod Products" fairs have already been held in the region, and another 26 are planned for the rest of the year.

      Maxim Cherkasov noted that in October the largest number of fairs will take place in the Sechenovsky and Bolsheboldinsky districts. There, as on other venues, a wide assortment will be presented — from food products to traditional handicrafts and handmade goods.

      The fair schedule is formed based on proposals received from municipal administrations and may be adjusted monthly.

      To obtain a free trading space, entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals must contact the administration of the respective municipal or urban district. The full list of upcoming fairs and the contact details of responsible persons are posted on the website of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
