      The readiness of the bridge across the Pochainsky Ravine in Nizhny Novgorod has reached 30%. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the municipal institution MKU "GUMMiD".

      According to the institution, pile foundations for the supports of the pedestrian bridge have been installed at the site, and the forming of grillage frames is ongoing. After the grillages' concrete reaches the required strength, work will proceed to the installation of metal structures.

      It is also specified that slope stabilization is being carried out through the construction of retaining walls and the installation of anchor fields; the readiness of these works exceeds 75%.

      At the same time, the second half of the reinforced concrete structures of the pedestrian tunnel is being constructed. The reinforced concrete trough has been completed, and reinforcement and concreting of the walls continue. After the concrete achieves the required strength, the contractor will begin installing the tunnel slab. Overall, about 52% of the tunnel work has been completed.

      Recall that the previous bridge across the Pochainsky Ravine was declared unsafe in the summer of 2024, and was subsequently dismantled.

      It was reported that the crossing is planned to be commissioned in November 2025.
