      The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation has announced the launch of the National "MediaPole" Award (12+). The best authors of materials about life and development in rural areas will meet in Moscow for the final. The project is being implemented under the state program "Comprehensive Development of Rural Territories." The goals of the Award are to find and support creators of media content about life outside the city in Russia, and to engage young people in creating high-quality media projects.

      Citizens of the Russian Federation aged 18 and over are invited to participate: individual authors, bloggers, students, young professionals and creators of media content. Applications are open until October 17.

      The jury, which will include well-known media experts, will select the 100 best projects. At the end of November the finalists will travel to Moscow: they will take part in a two-day business program, meet well-known bloggers and industry experts, and visit the country's leading media centers.

      Winners will receive diplomas and certificates from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. The prize fund is 4.5 million rubles. Details and the application form are available on the official website: медиаполе.рф, as well as on the contest's social media.
