      Society. The heating season in Dzerzhinsk may begin on September 22. This was reported by the city administration in response to a resident's question on social networks.

      City hall representatives clarified that the heating system is currently being filled.

      The administration also reminded that according to regulations, heat supply to apartment buildings and social facilities begins when the average daily air temperature drops below +8 degrees Celsius and remains at that level for five consecutive days.

      "The tentative date is September 22, 2025, however it may be adjusted depending on weather conditions," city authorities said.

      Earlier it was reported that in the Nizhny Novgorod region they are considering the possibility of reducing the period required to start heat supply to residential buildings and social institutions from five to three days when the average daily temperature is below +8 degrees.

      Also note that on September 16 and 17 the region is expected to see nighttime frosts down to 0… -1 degrees.
