      Weather conditions in the Nizhny Novgorod region remain unstable. A fog hangs over the region which, according to forecasters, may last until the beginning of next week. This was reported by the NTA-Privolzhye news agency.

      Olga Mokeeva, head of the meteorological forecasts department at the FGBU "Upper Volga UGMS," noted that the highest probability of fog formation remains in Nizhny Novgorod.

      "Fog may be observed throughout the week. This is due to a drop in ground-surface temperature, high humidity and the onset of the autumn season. Such a phenomenon is quite natural," the specialist explained.

      According to the forecaster, visibility on the roads in the regional center may deteriorate, which is especially important for drivers to consider in the morning and evening hours. At the same time, dense fog is not expected in other parts of the region — weather conditions there will be more stable.

      Earlier it was reported that frosts are possible at night in the Nizhny Novgorod region on September 16 and 17.
