      In the summer of 2025, business activity among Nizhny Novgorod residents shifted toward text communication and the use of digital assistants. Analysts at the MTS Link platform recorded a rise in the popularity of the corporate messenger and artificial intelligence against the backdrop of an overall decline in the number of online meetings.

      According to data from the MTS digital ecosystem, the number of users of the "Chats" service rose by 34% in summer compared with spring. At the same time, the number of meetings in which all participants were actively engaged fell by 13%, and the total number of webinars and meetings decreased by 15%. Specialists attribute this decline to the traditional reduction in business activity during the vacation period.

      Although the number of active users of the "Boards" service decreased by 7%, the number of projects created hardly changed. Over the year, the volume of work in this tool increased 1.5-fold. This is explained by many companies switching from foreign solutions to Russian alternatives.

      Analysts paid special attention to the growing interest in AI features. In summer, the MTS Link chatbot began receiving 31% more requests. Users more often sought advice and information about past meetings and calls.

      The most in-demand AI feature proved to be the automatic preparation of brief meeting summaries — the so-called "summary." In second place was transcription, which allows speech to be converted to text instantly. The noise suppression feature was also activated almost twice as often. Developers note that this is due to the need to make calls in non-standard conditions, for example, outdoors. The updated version of the feature now remembers the selected level of sound filtering and automatically applies it during subsequent connections.

      At the same time, interest in the platform's entertainment features declined: digital masks and avatars were used 64% less than in spring.

      According to Andrey Belov, director of MTS in the Nizhny Novgorod region, modern platforms such as MTS Link help automate routine tasks, ensure data security, and increase efficiency both in business and in education. All service data are stored on Russian servers and comply with information security requirements.
