Forest fire situation report for 05.09.2025

      According to the regional Ministry of Forestry, fire-danger classes 1–2, and locally 3, have been established in the region's forests. Patrolling is carried out throughout all daylight hours across the entire area where ground surveillance means are used; at the same time, on forest plots classified as fire-danger classes 1, 2 and 3.

      The 3rd fire-danger class is fully in effect in the forests of 1 municipal formation (MO): urban district of the city of Nizhny Novgorod.

      The 3rd fire-danger class is partially in effect in the forests of 10 MOs: urban district of the city of Dzerzhinsk; municipal district of the city of Bor; Balakhninsky, Bogorodsky, Volodarsky, Gorodetsky, Krasnobakovsky, Kstovsky, Semenovsky, Sechenovsky municipal districts.

      The 2nd fire-danger class is fully in effect in the forests of 1 MO: Varnavinsky municipal district.

      The 2nd fire-danger class is partially in effect in the forests of 16 MOs: urban district of the city of Vyksa; municipal district of the city of Chkalovsk; Vetluzhsky, Voznesensky, Voskresensky, Dalnekonstantinovsky, Koverninsky, Krasnooktyabrsky, Lyskovsky, Pavlovsky, Pilninsky, Sokolsky, Sosnovsky, Tonkinsky, Urensky, Sharangsky municipal districts.

      The 1st fire-danger class is fully in effect in the forests of 23 MOs: urban district of the city of Arzamas, urban district of the city of Kulebaki, urban district of the city of Sarov, municipal district of the city of Pervomaysk, municipal district of the city of Shakhunya, Ardatovsky, Bolsheboldinsky, Bolshemurashkinsky, Buturlinsky, Vadsky, Vachsky, Vorotynsky, Gaginsky, Diveyevsky, Knyaginin­sky, Lukoyanovsky, Navashinsky, Perevozsky, Pochinkovsky, Sergachsky, Spassky, Tonshaevsky, Shatkovsky municipal districts.

      For the convenience of citizens, the Ministry of Forestry of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast updates a fire-danger map daily on its website, showing areas where visiting forests is prohibited.
