Participants of the educational project "SVOy Business" in the Nizhny Novgorod region shared the results of their training. Wives of special military operation (SMO) participants — coach Irina Sharkova and anti-confectioner Anzhelika Vedeneeva — successfully completed an intensive course held at the Public Support Headquarters in Nizhny Novgorod in July 2025. The program included a theoretical module and a rich practical component.
"The 'SVOy Business' program has proven effective: it helps reveal new opportunities and enables people to realize themselves in entrepreneurship. Today's examples — when wives of SMO participants launch their own courses and trainings — clearly demonstrate that the project works. This gives confidence that such support truly produces results," said Olga Nikitina, regional coordinator of the federal party project "Entrepreneurship."
Nizhny Novgorod region became the 10th region to host the all‑Russian modular training program "SVOy Business."
"In our region, systematic work is being carried out to support participants of the special military operation, veterans and their families. We understand the importance of ensuring that our guys returning from the combat zone, and the relatives of fighters, do not face difficulties in adaptation. The 'SVOy Business' project is another important step in this direction. It provides an opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship and even to start one's own business. For many, this is not only a valuable experience but also new resources for self-realization. It is also important that participants can choose the direction they like and receive real support in implementing their ideas and projects. I want to note the great interest and engagement of novice entrepreneurs in the training and their desire to develop their businesses," said Tatiana Druzhinina, member of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma.
Anti-confectioner Anzhelika Vedeneeva presented an updated concept for a small culinary enterprise. Anzhelika's business grew out of a personal passion for healthy eating. According to the entrepreneur, it all started with baking for her family: without gluten, flour, dairy products, sugar, additives or refined oil. Gradually she developed a menu of 50 healthy desserts. Anzhelika applied to participate in the "SVOy Business" intensive as the wife of an SMO participant. Her idea passed a strict selection process.
"The project helped me a lot. During the intensive we discussed every business idea extensively with the group. We actively brainstormed and made suggestions. The fact that I am now reformatting my business and products is thanks to the educational program. I am happy to have been among the participants of 'SVOy Business.' The project is great," said "SVOy Business" graduate Anzhelika Vedeneeva.
Irina Sharkova is a certified international coach. She conducts individual sessions and group trainings. She joined the "SVOy Business" project to develop a new direction: "the adaptation of SMO participants and their family members in the 'new' world and finding oneself and one’s work." Irina is familiar with such issues from personal experience. Her father died during the Second Chechen Campaign in 2000. Her husband is an SMO participant.
"My project is called 'Life's Work.' It covers not only the search for oneself and the field in which one would like to develop, but also the restoration or even renewal of relationships with close and loved ones. I plan to work individually with family members to help them process emotional moments and understand how and where to move forward. Today I am presenting a mini-training 'Emotional Hygiene and How to Disarm in This Unstable World.' It is aimed at SMO participants and their relatives, primarily wives and mothers. This is a basic introductory training that will begin a better understanding of oneself and one's environment," explained "SVOy Business" graduate Irina Sharkova.
The goal of the "SVOy Business" educational program is to adapt SMO participants, combat veterans and their family members to civilian life, to form and develop entrepreneurial competencies, and to unlock the potential for starting one’s own business.
Recall that support for participants of the special military operation and their family members is a priority direction of the party's work and one of the main points of United Russia's People's Program. This initiative emphasizes the party's continued commitment to providing comprehensive assistance and support to those who defend the country's interests.
